Tic Tac rewards ‘Shake & Share’ promo winners
Winners of the Tic Tac ‘Shake and Share’ promo emerged in Lagos on last Friday, with the management of Ferrero, manufacturers of the product, rewarding them.
At an elaborate ceremony held at Protea Hotel, Ikeja, Buoyant Ikor (Lagos), Ejimole Chiamaka (Port Harcourt) and Ita Okokon (Lagos) received prizes that included iPhones.
The promo was organised to mark 45 years of existence of Tic Tac, described as a leader in the confectionary segment of the market.
During the road show powered by Route 712 Agency, Tic Tac promoted the special promo picture that offered consumers the opportunity to win three Apple iPhone 6 and consolation prizes such as Samsung smart phones, caps, key holders, flash drives, pens and free Tic Tac products.
Announcing the winners, the country representative of Ferrero company, Adewale Adediran, said the mint was embarking on the initiative as a mark of respect for its teeming consumers and as a way of showing deep appreciation for their consistency toward the brand since inception.
He explained that Tic Tac understands the role consumers had played in the journey to attain the milestone; hence, believe it was imperative to give back for their support.
Adediran added that the fact that consumers had had a memorable experience in the road show was an attestation that Nigerians appreciate and love the brand.
He said, “Tic Tac has come a long way. It is also recognised as the most famous mint in the world and in the top five ranking of sugar confectionery brands in the world.”
The promo that kicked off on October 13 this year and ended November 21 had tens of thousands of consumers and fans taking part in the road show.
The campaign generated some key interesting figures, indicating that the project was a huge success.
According to the data collected on the field and on the Official Nigerian Tic Tac Facebook page – www.facebook.com/tictacnigeria – over 180, 000 consumers participated in the road show. To qualify for the promo, consumers and fans were asked to register at the Roadshow activation in any of the identified markets near their neighborhood, take picture of themselves and follow daily news uploaded on the Facebook account of the brand.
